Due to budget cuts, the Cornell Cooperative Extension office hours are now:
Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The office will be closed on Fridays until further notice.

 includes 5 packet seed kit for the Northeast - Carrots, cucumber, lettuce, radisha and tomato.

Each kit comes with the new 2012 Vegetable Varieties booklet, plant markers, and full planting information about each herb, flower, and vegetable.

4-H is Looking for a Few Good Volunteers

Warren County 4-H is looking for a few good volunteers! The 4-H Youth Development Program is expanding. We are looking for adults over the age of 21 who are interested in making a difference and have a sincere interest in the youth of Warren County. Training is provided and you determine the amount of hours you want to offer. Cornell Cooperative Extension's mission is to enable people to improve their lives and communities through partnerships that put experience and research knowledge to work.

Do you have an interest in rocketry or robotics? Do you like to take things apart just to see how they work? Do you have experience and/or knowledge in the areas of flight, rockets, or planes? Currently, 4-H is in search of a project leader for the Rocketry and Robotics Club. We are looking for an adult who is interested in leading and assisting with projects such as stomp rockets, robotics, and model rockets. Does this sound like you?

Warren County 4-H is also in search of an adult who is interested in assisting with our fly-fishing club, the Adirondack Reelers. Currently this club has two adult volunteers and is in search of one more. We are looking for someone who is interested in and has knowledge of fishing, fly tying, and local fish species. This person should be able to work with youth in an outdoor setting and is willing to share their knowledge and fondness for the art of fly fishing.
