Hey 4-Her’s and Families!

Do you have an hour to spare on Saturday, December 3rd between 9 am and 1 pm?  One of our community service projects this holiday season is to ring the bell for the Red Kettle Campaign.  

When:  Sat., December 3rd from 9:00am – 1:00 pm
            (in hour increments)
Where:  Wal-Mart, Quaker Boulevard, Queensbury
Why:  To help raise money to support the work of the
          Salvation Army
Who:  You!

IT'S 4-H RE-ENROLLMENT TIME!!!




Don't forget to enroll by November 30th to ensure that you are able to participate in fun activities like the 4-H Youth Fair Superintendent Program, Career Explorations Trip, STARR, etc....you wouldn't want to miss out!!!  If you have yet to send in your re-enrollment forms...contact the CCE office now.


4-H SHOOTING SPORTS - PISTOL PROGRAM

LOCATION:  Dunham’s Bay Fish & Game Club

MUST be an enrolled 4-H member, be 14 years of age or older &; MUST have completed a Rifle or Air Rifle program prior. Fee $5.

4-H COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY


Spread some holiday cheer!

One of our holiday community service projects this year will be to spread some cheer to our neighbors here in Warrensburg at the Countryside Adult Home.  We’ll be making each resident of the home a fresh evergreen door charm (swag) to brighten the door to their room.   We’ll also be making mini door knob charms for you to take home.

WHEN: Tuesday, December 6 from 4:30-5:30 pm
WHERE: CCE Education Center, Schroon River Road, Warrensburg
WHAT: Create door charms to give and a door knob charm to take home
COST:  $2/per youth
WHO: Open to all 4-H youth and friends

At the conclusion of the program, we’ll walk to the Home next door to our offices and deliver the charms.

Countryside Adult Home is a 48 bed, public, non-profit home for adults located in Warrensburg, NY. Their purpose is to provide both long-term residential care and respite care, to adult residents of Warren County, who do not require twenty-four (24) hour skilled nursing services.
