4-H COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY - PAPER CLOVER FUNDRAISER

Each spring and fall the Tractor Supply Company (TSC) and 4-H partner for the paper clover fundraising campaign.  For $1 (or more!) customers at TSC can purchase a paper clover and show their support for 4-H.  Seventy percent of the monies raised in this national campaign benefit state and local 4-H programs.   We benefit greatly each year in Warren County from the funds raised by TSC.
Please come out and show your 4-H pride and help our Queensbury Tractor Supply Company store raise funds.  Youth will work at the customer checkout counter with TSC employees or they can serve as greeters just outside the store’s entrance.   We know that when 4-H’ers are present in the store working with the TSC team, we can boost how much we raise by 40%.  Adult supervision is required for any youth participating.

Grab another 4-H friend or come as a club for a fun community service opportunity.  Call Michele at the 4-H office (668-4881) or email mlb222@cornell.edu to sign up to work a shift.

HANNAFORD HELPS REUSABLE BAG PROGRAM

We are happy to announce that Cornell Cooperative Extension has been selected to be a part of the exciting and innovative “Hannaford Helps “ Reusable Bag Program, designed to create revenue streams for local nonprofits like us.

For every blue Good Karma “Hannaford Helps “ Reusable Bag bought in support of our cause at the Hannaford  located at 190 Quaker Road in Queensbury during the month of October, $1 is donated to our cause in order to help us fulfill our mission.  The price of the bag is only $2.29, with the $1 donation included!

In order for us to maximize this opportunity, it’s important that our supporters are aware of this unique chance to support CCE.  Please pass this exciting news on to your friends and family.

Remember, the more of these blue “
Hannaford Helps “ Reusable Bags purchased, the more money we raise to support the important work of CCE.

Thank you so much for your continued support!
