Looking for 4-H Members to Attend the NYS Fair

Interest in attending the NYS Fair in Syracuse from Sunday, August 25th until Thursday, August 29th has grown as the teens have talked about the opportunities to meet new friends, see new 4-H projects, explore the Fair’s displays, animal barns, and activities.

As a result, this year we are limiting the number of youth who can attend to a total of 10 youth.  Those who have attended in the past can sign up to work outside of the county booth, while those who are new are expected to work in the booth on rotating shifts.

In order to attend the NYS Fair as a Warren County 4-H representative, a youth must meet the following requirements:
· Must have been re-enrolled by Nov. 30, 2018.
· Completed a Public Presentation in 2019.
· Participated as a Fair Superintendent in the 2019 Youth Fair and received a blue award.
· Must have reached the age of 14 by January 1, 2019 OR be approved by the Team Coordinator and be accompanied by a parent and/or approved volunteer.
Interested youth should contact the CCE office for more information at 518-668-4881.
