4-H WINTER BREAK PROGRAMS

Date:  Tuesday, February 16th

Join us for THE MITTEN PROJECT – MAKE A PAIR – GIVE A PAIR – at 10:30am when we will upcycle old sweaters into mittens. There is no fee for this program but please bring an old sweater to make your mittens. (Wool, cotton and cotton blend fabrics make the best mittens). After making a pair of mittens for yourself, we’ll use any time left to make mittens for the Warrensburg Head Start. This program is for 4-H-ers 9 years and older.
At 12:00 we will be breaking for lunch. Youth are asked to bring a bag lunch but we will also be making a healthy snack to share with all.
From 12:45-2:15 come home your craft in the art of fishing at DAN’S FISHING EXTRAVAGANZA where we will explore the different kinds of sportfishing, learn how to identify the catch of the day and even practice casting. We are expecting to have casting games outside so youth should bring weather appropriate clothing.
Youth are welcome to come for one or both programs - please contact the CCE office to register at 668-4881 or e-mail mlb222@cornell.edu

Registration is required and can be done by contacting the CCE office at
