4-H Rocket Challenge

The basic idea is to design a craft that will go far enough, and be accurate enough to land in a designated area.  CCE/4-H will supply kits which will include propulsion device (air propulsion), materials to make rockets, and all instructions.  You will need to supply all tape, staples, or other items that you may choose to weight the cone of the rocket with.

You will need a partner for this experience.  One person will operate the launch propulsion device and the other with steady and aim the rocket. There are only 9 kits and it is first come first serve.

This challenge is open to all 4-H youth ages 8 and over, with adult supervision/partner for those under 10.

To reserve a kit or for more information, email Dan Carusone at djc69@cornell.edu or call us (518) 668-4881.
