Tiny PiNY Competition

What:     Tiny PINY 

       Cooking Competition - Round 1 

Who:  4-H Youth 8-19 years old

(Junior Division 8-12 y.o. & Senior Division 13-19 y.o.)

Date: Thursday, July 9, 2015

Time:  6:00 pm

Where: CCE Education Center



Calling ALL kids who like to cook and bake – enter to present your recipe in the Tiny PINY silent cooking demonstration.   Here’s your chance to demonstrate your food preparation skills while promoting a tasty recipe featuring New York State food products.

The final round will be held at the Warren County Youth Fair on Saturday, August 8th.   Winners will be given the opportunity to compete at the NYS Fair in Syracuse on September 1st.

With the generous support of the Golub Foundation (Price Chopper), we will have available to loan clear mixing bowls, rubber spatulas, wooden spoons, and clear measuring cups to enhance your demonstration.  New York State Fair admission tickets will also be awarded to winners.

Any 4-H youth between the ages of 8 – 19 are encouraged to register.

Tiny PiNY Information Packet



Basic & Intermediate .22 Rifle Program

Date:  Saturday, May 16, 2015
Time:  11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location:  Dunham's Bay Fish & Game Club

This class covers all fundamental safety steps for handling a firearm. Examples include muzzle control, use of personal safety equipment, range rules, developing a sight picture, etc.  The rifles, ammunition, targets, and safety gear are all provided for this event by Warren County 4-H.

Participants must be at least 12 years old.  The fee for this program is $5 for members/$15 for non-members (which includes the 4-H enrollment fee).
