The Cornell Cooperative Extension office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Check out the events below to see what's happening with the Warren County 4-H program. Please make sure to contact us if you see something you want to be a part of~most events need pre-registration. BASIC & INTERMEDIATE AIR PISTOL PROGRAM

A BASIC AIR PISTOL Program is being held on Sunday, March 19th from 9AM - 11AM @ the Dunham’s Bay Fish & Game Club in Queensbury.  Followed by an INTERMEDIATE AIR PISTOL Program from 1-5pm.

Youth must be at least 10 years of age. Participants will work on improving groups, trigger squeeze, breathing, and scoring targets. Fee $5. Please contact the CCE office for more information or to register by calling 623-3291 or 668-4881 or e-mailing mlb222@cornell.edu

Winter Solstice Programs


Don’t be bored during mid-winter break, 
come to CCE for a day of fun and learning!
Join us for one or for all of these fun, educational programs:

Date:  Thursday, February 23rd
Time:  9:30am—2:30pm
Location:  CCE Education Center
$5.00/youth for the entire day!
**Dress for the weather as some of these programs will take place outside**

9:30am—10:30amWHEP—Showshoe Hare & Ruft Grouse
Learn about the winter adaptations of these two ADK species.  Cloverbuds welcome!  Limited to 15 participants.


9:30am—10:30amUpcycled Craft Activity - Limited to 10 participants.


11:00 am—12:00pmPublic Presentation Training A fun and engaging program that will help get you started with your 2017 public presentation.  FREE


12:00pm—1:00pm”It’s a Wrap” - Join us as we learn about the importance of vegetables and fruits in our diets and then we make our own healthy wraps.  Limited to 25 participants.


1:15 pm—2:30pmDrone Discovery - Come have fun with us and experiment with drones.  Ages 10+.  Limited to 15 participants.


1:15 pm—2:30pmUpcycled Craft Activity - Limited to 10 participants.







Hey 4-Her’s and Families!

Do you have an hour to spare on Saturday, December 3rd between 9 am and 1 pm?  One of our community service projects this holiday season is to ring the bell for the Red Kettle Campaign.  

When:  Sat., December 3rd from 9:00am – 1:00 pm
            (in hour increments)
Where:  Wal-Mart, Quaker Boulevard, Queensbury
Why:  To help raise money to support the work of the
          Salvation Army
Who:  You!

Don't forget to enroll by November 30th to ensure that you are able to participate in fun activities like the 4-H Youth Fair Superintendent Program, Career Explorations Trip, STARR, etc....you wouldn't want to miss out!!!  If you have yet to send in your re-enrollment forms...contact the CCE office now.


4-H SHOOTING SPORTS - PISTOL PROGRAM

MUST be an enrolled 4-H member, be 14 years of age or older &; MUST have completed a Rifle or Air Rifle program prior. Fee $5.
