Cornell Cooperative Extension and 4-H of Warren County and Washington County invite teens to join the 4-H Choose Health program and make a difference in their communities! “The Choose Health program came out of a concern that many children have habits that could lead to health issues and chronic disease either in childhood, or as they become adults,” explains Abby Henderson, a 4-H Community Educator. “We want all kids to learn healthier habits and have fun along the way!”
Teens have the unique opportunity to help fight this growing concern by becoming 4-H “Choose Health Action Teens”, or CHATs. CHATs will receive training in healthy food choices and active living, and then use those skills to teach healthy habits to younger children.
For more information or to join CHAT, please contact Abby Henderson by e-mailing
