State Teen Action Representative Retreat
Looking for an opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills? Want to meet other 4-H teens from across New York State and have fun? Looking for new ideas to share with your club?
Are you often frustrated by other teens who say there is nothing to do in your town? Then STARR might be the answer for you!
When: April 10-12, 2015
Where: The New York State Fairgrounds, Youth Building
Who: Any 4-H member who is thirteen or older and who wants to work on their leadership skills and/or learn more about new programs.
How much: Generally around $85 (this includes travel, meals while at the event, program materials, and an event t-shirt). The 4-H program does have some funding to pay part of the cost of this program.
How: Any teen interested in attending the 2015 event MUST submit a one-page essay on why they want to attend and what they would like to take away from the experience BEFORE Thursday, February 19, 2015. For more information, contact the CCE Education Center at (518) 623-3291.
