Our
third graduating high school senior is Taylor Stone. Taylor joined 4-H at
the age of 12 and jumped right into 4-H programs participating in shooting
sports, natural resources, public presentations, cooking classes (PINY-Produced
in New York) and the 4-H Adirondack Guides. She has reached the Advanced
Level II Guide designation and has participated in leadership events such as
STARR and represented Warren County at the NYS Fair. Her artwork has been
judged at the NYS Fair 3 of the 5 years that she has been
exhibiting. She has been involved locally at the Warren County
Youth Fair for four years working as a fair superintendent and overseeing the
popular 4-H yard sale as the teen supervisor. In 2017 she was awarded the
“Spirit of 4-H Award” for her commitment and support of 4-H.
Taylor
will graduate from Glens Falls High School where she has been in the National
Honor Society and participated in the Environmental Club, Friends of Rachel Club
and the Art Club. She is a Girl Scout (Ambassador Level) and has
participated in the Olympics of the Visual Arts. In the fall she will be
attending SUNY New Paltz working towards her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Graphic
Design as well as a science minor with a focus in Ornithology. Taylor is also
the recipient of the 4-H Educational Award Scholarship.
Congratulations,
Taylor! Enjoy some highlights of your 4-H experience. We are proud of you and
each of our graduates who mean more to 4-H, their community, their country, and
their world than you can ever imagine!
